Everything Bagel Loaded with…. everything! We tend to neglect the bagels at Alon’s. But, they deserve better. There’s a gorgeous deep golden exterior that has a nice crunch. The insides are tender, chewy and full of flavor. Slice it open and add a schmear of triple creme brie. Now, that’s a fast food meal we’d happily eat any day of the week.

Multi-Green Kombucha It looks a bit like New York City sewer water might after the Zombie Apocalypse. But, after a sip or two it’s oddly addictive and “interesting”. There’s a seriously sharp, vinegary bite. And, there’s quite a bit of harsh IN YOUR FACE (and tickle your nose) super-carbonation that finishes with a yeasty buzz. One of us hates it. The other is a fence-sitter.

Arancini Lemon saffron risotto croquettes with Scamorza and two sauces, we would have rather seen a little salad of bitter greens on top. A salad of rocket and basil would’ve been nice to cut the richness. It was tasty, nonetheless.

Crispy Spicy Jumbo Shrimp With Peanuts It’s the delicate crunch that melts to nothing on your tongue. That’s the magic of tempura-style batters. Top those crispy shrimp with sesame seeds, hot red peppers, green peppers, onions, and deep dark roasted peanuts. You have the makings for one delicious dish. Smoky flavor from their journey over a hot flame adds complexity to the red pepper heat. There’s nothing one dimensional about the spice in this dish.
Do You See Those Dark Roasted Peanuts? We meticulously (greedily) fought to find every one of them.
Chicken With Chili Peppers Do you like it hot? You’d better. This is one red hot smokin’ dish. Your eyes will water and you might lose the ability to differentiate the individual flavors midway through the dish. But, we kept going back for more… and more. Not only did we finish each and every last bite, but, we left hungry for more.
A Pot Of Chrysanthemum Tea Our tea was extremely weak. But, hopefully, that’ll prove to be a fluke.
Are we on the love train? Not yet. But, we’re bound to take that trip some time soon.

Crazy Ron’s BBQ Rib Plate That little red train car dished up one giant mound of tender saucy ribs, again. We’re really starting to crave these giants on a regular basis.
With Beans & Potato Salad We did miss the collard greens. But, there’s always next time.

What’s better than popping open a frosty soda and chowing down on some tasty roadside bbq on a hot summer day? Another visit, another pile of saucy ribs and a big mound of pork on a bun begging to be devoured. We dare you to find a better meal dished up by friendlier folks near Stone Mountain Village. Chopped into good-sized pieces, deep fried and topped with crispy garlic and shallots… you wanna talk about finger lickin’ good. This is it. We weren’t going to let those delicious droplets of lobster scented oil go to waste.
Tender Chunks Of Tail Meat A few pieces of claw meat were a touch overcooked, but, still delicious.
Cold Konjac Noodles In Chili Oil
Spicy Pickled Vegetables Both of these spicy nibbles were a great way to cut the richness of those two gorgeous deep fried lobsters.
Sichuan Pepper Chicken These chunks of chicken are deep fried (but, not breaded). Then, they’re tossed with sesame seeds, red chili peppers, Sichuan peppercorns, crispy garlic and topped with cilantro. The gorgeous floral evergreen freshness of those sichuan peppercorns and the toasty red chilies are divine paired with that bright green flavor of cilantro.

Nut Brown Crown with Chocolate/Vanilla Ice Cream Swirl Best Ice Cream In The World! …they say. Who is this “they”? Zesto’s website. It might not be the best ice cream in the WORLD. But, it’s one of our favorite guilty pleasures. Sometimes, that inner child buried deep down can be easy to please. Sometimes. From the glowing neon to the two-tone turquoise vinyl seats and speckled formica table tops to those cheery red umbrellas, this place is a blast. And, the folkscopin’ can be more than colorful. You might even make friends with your friendly neighborhood ___. Feed your inner child and make friends (at your own risk) in the real world.
